Labour Day 2019: REMA Appreciates Outstanding Employees of the Year 2018-2019
On this 1 May, 2019The Management and Staff of Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA) have celebrated the International Labour Day, themed “Quality Work, a Catalyst for sustainable development”.
During the celebration The Deputy Director General, Faustin Munyazikwiye saluted all the workers for their hard work and dedication and mentioned that this is also an opportunity to improve in some areas in line with REMA ‘s mandate towards achieving the Green Rwanda we want.
“We are called to deliver quality and timely work, which leads to timely attainment of intended results. We must be guided by professional ethics, efficiency, positive character, daily self-evaluation and sense of urgency while performing our daily responsibilities”
REMA has also awarded the best employees of the year for their outstanding performance and excellent service delivery. The awarded staff are Ms. UWERA Martine, Standards and Regulations Officer and Mr. MUGIRANEZA Modeste, Accountant under SPIU/REMA #LabourDay2019
The Management & Staff of REMA committed to keep delivering their responsibilities by promoting the spirit of team work, professionalism, discipline, sense of urgency, efficiency and respect of Labour and other working laws among other aspects
